Like the peach, the apricot was brought to Europe from the Middle East by the Romans. Over the years, it has spread widely in many of the warmer European countries and has also spread widely in the United States.
The oil is excellent for the skin and is easily absorbed. It is said to be useful for itching and eczema. The apricot base oil is sourced from Spain and is made using a cold-pressed extraction method.
